About The Event

Join us Tuesday, April 14th at Rolling Hills Community Church for our annual fundraiser! The proceeds from the night provides the support needed to advance our mission of offering excellent, accessible and affordable mental and emotional healthcare services in support of a transformational impact on communities. The night will include dinner, client stories, and a celebration of all Refuge has done over the past year, and info on where we are headed and hope to accomplish!

Doors and buffet open at 5:30pm, event program starts at 6:30pm.

Natalie Grant
Singer, Songwriter

As a nine-time Grammy® nominee and five-time GMA Dove Awards Female Artist of the Year, Natalie Grant is an iconic name in gospel music. Over the past 25 years, she has been a mainstay on both the Billboard albums and singles charts, and in addition to her music, she is also a respected author and philanthropist.

Natalie is the co-founder of Hope for Justice, a non-profit organization that fights to rescue and restore victims of human trafficking and prosecute traffickers. The organization now has offices across six countries and five continents, with over 150,000 trafficking victims helped in the last year.
Natalie lives in Nashville, TN with her husband, Grammy® Award–winning songwriter and producer Bernie Herms, along with their three teenage daughters, Gracie, Bella, and Sadi.

Thunderstorm Artis
Singer, Songwriter, Multi-Instrumentalist

Soaring vocals meet dextrous, layered guitar and intimate storytelling that can evoke the poetic lyricism of Passenger in one song before sliding into the wrenching neo-soul of Leon Bridges in another.
 Thunderstorm Artis was born and raised in a large musical family on the North Shore of Oahu, and it’s easy to find the laid-back vibe of island life effortlessly blended with the real life experiences that inspire his music. Dr. Henry Cloud
New York Times Bestselling Author, Clinical Psychologist, and Leadership Expert

Dr. Henry Cloud is a clinical psychologist, pastor to pastors, and New York Times bestselling author. His 46 books, including the iconic Boundaries, have sold over 20 million copies worldwide.
Throughout his storied career as a clinician, he started treatment centers, created breakthrough new models rooted in research, and has been a leading voice on issues of mental health and leadership on a global scale. Dr. Cloud lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Tori, and their two daughters, Olivia and Lucy.

Chief Deb Faulkner, EdD
Franklin Police Department

While Chief Faulkner has been a member of the Franklin Police Department for over eleven years, she has a long career in law enforcement. Deb came up through ranks as a member of the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department serving in the Patrol Division and various other assignments and achieving the rank of Deputy Chief of Police. She has her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Memphis; her master’s in criminal justice from Middle Tennessee State University; and her doctorate in Human Development Counseling from Vanderbilt University. She has served as President of the Tennessee Association of Chiefs of Police and was selected by Governor Lee to serve on the Tennessee POST Commission where she served as the Chair. She is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and past President of the TN FBI National Academy Graduates. She currently serves on the Board of Leadership Franklin and is also a graduate of Leadership Nashville and Leadership Middle Tennessee. Last year she was named as an Iconic Woman of Williamson County.
